How are we supposed to do this quest? Where do we do it? I'm at the Ruby shrine, I chose a dreamsurge ability and then the quest just dead ends with no explaination of where to go or what to do. Typical WOW quest. We're supposed to collect

Just fly over the location where Dreamsurge mark appeared (The Waking Shores for now) and collect these little green orbs. They are everywhere - under the bridges, between trees, rocks, in the tops of towers etc. Then just get 3 000 of reputation across the Dragon isles (any kind) and you get the quest done.

Or you can get the Dreamsurge Coalescence by:

doing Dreamsurge weekly quest
closing spawned portals (my was near /way #2022 41 77, it respawns with the cooldown of Dreamsurge)
killing enhanced rares in actual location of Dreamsurge
doing world quests in actual location of Dreamsurge (mouse over Dreamsurge icon on your map and the events will glow)

These are fluorescent green orbs that are hanging in the air, mainly under bridges and branches of trees. Get on your dragon and fly through them to collect the coalescents. Since they are a fel-green colour, you can easily see them as they stand out in the Obsidian Citadel area against the burnt lands and lava. You can also obtain a few doing the weeklies.

Where is the Dreamsurge?
The Dreamsurge rotates weekly between the 4 original Dragon Isles zones. Check zone maps for the large blue and green icon in the shape of a droplet. The droplet marks the location of the druid Dreamsurge camp. Once you're in the zone, click the icon: all world quest markers glow. Mouseover the icon to see the time remaining until the next Dreamsurge (occurs every 30 minutes.)

Where is the Waking Dream portal?
A Dreamsurge spawns a Waking Dream portal every 30 minutes -- look for a large red swirl on the zone map. The portal spawns in the same spot during the week.
Lag: After the portal opening is announced, you won't see the portal icon for about 3 minutes. The timer immediately resets, showing 29:00 minutes until the next portal spawn. Not to worry -- watch the map.

What can I buy with all the Dreamsurge Coalescence I'm collecting?
See Worgen vendor Celestine of the Harvest at the Dreamsurge camp.

You can keep collecting Dreamsurge Coalescence after you finish the weekly Shaping the Dreamsurge.
View your Dreamsurge Coalescence count by dragging the icon in your inventory to an action bar.

Need to collect Dreamsurge Coalescence faster?
Try dragonriding through orbs of Dreamsurge Coalescence. These show up best at night and respawn. Thaldraszus has concentrations of orbs in Valdrakken and surrounding areas.

What to do if the onscreen counter stops registering orbs while flying?
Keep flying through orbs. The counter will suddenly self-correct and the screen will be full of Dreamsurge Coalescence
loot notices.

Surging Dreams: Meet Archdruid Hamuul Runetotem in Valdrakken and go to the Dreamsurge camp.

Surging DreamsQuest giver Archdruid Hamuul Runetotem is a Tauren Druid found next to the fountain in Valdrakken.
Objective	Description
Meet the druids who are investigating the Dreamsurge.	Archdruid Hamuul Runetotem says: Meet me in the Dreamsurge, <name>. There is much to investigate. The Dreamsurge camp is marked by the large icon of a blue and green droplet on the zone map. The camp moves every week between the original Dragon Isles zones.
Reward: 2 gold 80 silver 90 copper plus experience

Dreamsurge Investigation: Complete Dreamsurge activities and close portal.

Steps	Activities	Description
1)	Vote for a Dreamsurge effect (a buff)	Talk to Druid Naralex who is channelling Dreamsurge energy with both hands. Yes, this is Naralex who was awakened from the Emerald Dream in the Wailing Caverns instance (in the Northern Barrens). He’s next to Archdruid Hamuul Runetotem. There is no quest marker over his head. Click to interact. A box will open that contains two buffs. There is a “Vote” button under each. The buff that receives the most votes is applied to everyone in the zone who voted during the next Dreamsurge.
2)	Complete activities in the Dreamsurge zone	There are many activities. Hostile NPCs and elites usually drop Dreamsurge Coalescence World quests in the Dreamsurge zone Empowered rare elites These are rare zone elites that spawn in a translucent green recolor. The spawn will be announced in red in the Chat box. But you’ll have to mouse over the rare markers on the zone map to check names. Pick the large Dreaming Growth plants. They are translucent green. They always drop Dreamsurge Coalescence. Kill anything that spawns near the Waking Dream portal. Kill the elite from the portal. Fly through glowing green orbs of Dreamsurge Coalescence in the Dreamsurge zone. These are found in towers, under arches, under bridges, near rock formations, near structures including canopies. Can be seen more easily at night.
3)	Kill the rare elite that spawns from the Waking Dream Portal.	To summon the elite, fill the progress bar by killing creatures from the portal. Picking the large red flowering plants also counts. Some, but not all NPCs will drop Dreamsurge Coalescence.
4)	Close the Waking Dream Portal	The portal closes automatically when the elite from the portal is killed.
Reward: Crate of Dreambound Armor containing ilevel 402 Veteran armor that binds to account.

Shaping the Dreamsurge: Check in at the Dreamsurge camp, then collect 100 Dreamsurge Coalescence any way you like.

Objectives	Description
Gather Dreamsurge Coalescence from around the Dreamsurge.	There is no set list of activities, so you can earn Dreamsurge Coalescence any way you choose. Example: You can skip the Waking Dream Portal (although you can earn about half of the 100 Dreamsurge Coalescence there).
Rewards: Dreamsurge Chrysalis Use it to buy 1 piece of Champion gear (bind on pickup) from Archdruid Hamuul Runetotem. OR use it to buy Wyrm's Bountiful Chest. This contains 15 Wyrm's Shadowflame Crest Fragments. Combine fragments to create 1 Wyrm's Shadowflame Crest. Use Wyrm’s Crest to partially upgrade Champion level gear. (Maximum ilevel 437) PLUS Drake's Shadowflame Crest Fragments (around 10). Combine 15 Drake's Shadowflame Crest Fragments to create 1 Drake's Shadowflame Crest. Use Drake’s Crest it to partially upgrade Veteran's or Champion's gear. (Maximum ilevel 424)

Corxian in the Gladiator's Refuge building in Valdrakken (across from Mining instructors)
Cuzolth at each Dreamsurge camp location and at Loamm in Zaralek Cavern
Erza in the Sapphire Enclave in Valdrakken.

When mousing over the NPC, you'll see the icon of a feather and crossed blade.

Dreamsurge gear can be transmogged to tier set pieces at the Revival Catalyst Console in Thaldraszus (59.7, 53.7).
