The quest hand-in wasn't showing up for me after the cutscene. I had to abandon and re-do the quest, taking care not to kill things too fast to allow him to go through the runes.
Worked after two attempts, unsure if this was just launch day instability or generally buggy quest, but maybe this helps someone else in the same predicament as I.

try not to pull too much Agitated Essence, and just focus on the big mobs that attack the npc. she changes runes after every 25%, so do not push above 50 and 75% if she didnt switched yet

First rune downed at 25%, 2nd rune downed at 50% then while channeling 3rd rune we ended up at 100% but it still managed to complete quest after killing some more mobs and a minute or so passed.

I think you can do the 0% to 100% at the speed you want now. Then you just have to wait for Boru to clean each runes. It's long ...

Something that seemed to of fixed it was standing infront of him while killing the enemies. I suggest only killing the Centars though, just in case.

I present You Storyline Ohn'ahra's Blessing. This Storyline is part of Ohn'a'Roll which is criteria for Loremaster of the Dragon Isles.

Storyline in order I done it:

1. Hooves of War - See Khansguard Jebotai 41.8 61.7 inside bulding.
2. The Calm Before the Storm - Speak with 4 NPC:
- Scout Khenyug 37.6 59.3
- Herbalist Agura 38.5 57.4
- Khansguard Hojin 39.5 55.4
- Quartermaster Gensai 40.7 56.3
3. Boku the Mystic - See Initiate Boku 36.8 57.3
4. Pessimistic Mystic - Place 4 Totems around Initiate Boku.
5. Mystic Mystery - Go to 44.5 61.9 and pick up Boku's Belongings by conversation then go 46.4 63.2 and pick up Boku's Totem from Unidentified Centaur. Then fly to 49.3 63.2 and speak with Initiate Boku.
6a. Taken By Storm - Slay Shela the Windbinder 48.9 69 and loot Ridgewater Retreat Orders.
6b. Toting Totems - Gather 8 Bundle of Totems from the Nokhud soldiers.
8. Catching Wind - See Initiate Boku 58.1 68.9
9a. Weather Control - You need to slay: 8 Stormbound Essence and 6 Stormcaller Initiate
9b. Eagle-itarian - Free 6 Child of Ohn'ahra and slay 6 Primalists. Child of Ohn'ahra are chained to Ohuna Binding Totem press on it to free them
9c. Fowl Sorcery - Destroy 4 Nokhud wagons Boku's Wind Totem. Location: /way 59.2 65.4 /way 61.7 66.7 /way 58.1 67.3 /way 58.8 61.9
12. Oh No, Ohn'ahra! - Defeat enemies until 100% when Boku tries to free Ohn'ahra. when get to 100% Movie will start.
13. A Storm of Ill Tidings - Speak with Khanam Matra Sarest 60 37.5 inside on top of bulding. After finish this quest Storyline will finish.

If you kill it to fast it will take a few minutes for the quest turn in to show up. But it DOES show up. No need to restart the quest.

I don't think the speed matters, but I can't figure out what else. Maybe I should've waited for the turn in to appear before abandoning.
I was completing the quest with two other players nearby, I saw the cutscene, but no turn in. I abandoned and took the quest again, completed it alone this time, as fast as I could, reached 100% before the third rune was done. Boku started moving to the next rune, but the cutscene reappeared, I skipped it and the turn in was there.

i have 100% but no cut scene and the big mobs stay up long enough for it to come to me, the whole area is swarmed.

The point of the quest is to protect Initiate Boku. So follow him and attack the mobs that get close to him. As he moves to another point, follow him and attack the mobs attacking him. Once he done his magic at 3 points and you're at 100% the cut scene starts and the quest is completed.

Screwball quest.

It's really two things. One is you have a progress bar for killing mobs, anything pretty much counts. Sometimes, especially at the first rune, some initiates will bug so look for them standing off to the side.

The second thing is he's going to spend a certain amount of time at each rune, doesn't matter how far the progress bar is. I had someone else doing it when I was doing it and we seemed to share the progress bar. So we got the progress bar to 100% on the first rune but we still had to wait for him to progress from rune to rune.

Super buggy quest, specially if there's someone else doing the quest as well. I hit 100% when the NPC was still on the 1st rune. What worked for me was leaving the zone for a few secs, and then come back. Each time I came back Boku was on a different rune till eventually the cinematic triggered and the quest was completed.

I was just checking the comments because I couldn't turn in the quest; initiate Boku wasn't there. But after waiting a bit he just popped up. Dunno why. I have agitated initiates harassing me now though.

Once you reach 100% if you have stealth you might be tempted to turn it on and tune out for a while.
Guess what, your stealth doesn't work.

I think the big flaw of this quest is putting the ole percent progress bar in for the quest tracker.

If you listen to what the NPC says, and the overall tone of the quest, you're meant to be protecting this dude from harm while he completes the ritual, one stone at a time. But we're in the WQ must-fill-bar-quick mindset pulling every mob in sight sitting at 72% after the first pull (hi tanks) and while he's still sitting there on the first rune saying it's almost complete.

Should've just been a N-part quest with each objective revealed one at a time. First stone, second stone, etc.
Maybe they planned for you to be able to speedrun it by filling the bar up fast, but if so it clearly needs another pass.

I've tried killing em fast, tried killlin em slow, tried killin em with kindness. A bug is a bug is a bug is a bug and this expansion has A LOT OF BUGS.

I dunno if this is why it worked but once others left i finally complete it after about half an hour.

I found that with this quest, you need to kill the mobs on the NPC as he channels. When he moves/ if he moves just move with him, regardless of your completion bar.

If you are stuck at 100%, the thing that seemed to fix it was flying away, then flying back again.

its not bugged u have to find oh nara channeling around the big bubble kill mobs around it till oh nara moves to another spot do the same and it will complete, basically u have to protect the channeling npc until he completes

Very bugged for me, i have been trying to do this quest for 30min. Flying away and back doesn't work. abandoning doesn't work, sitting here waiting doesn't work.

Edit: of course after I complain about it and someone else starts doing the quest it starts working again...

I tried doing this on demonology, the quest never progressed, I THINK because my pets kept killing enemies and that didn't count somehow? I switched to affliction and the quest started progressing as normal.

I posted a ticket for this because my Demolock was stuck at 100%, twice!

The GM said I should go check Wowhead how others are going about the DAMNED BUGGED quest. Wth is that about? Why not fix the quest.
I swear, they are so arrogant. We are paying for this!

Description

That Primalist is restraining Ohn'ahra, but just barely. She doesn't seem to notice us. Tigari Khan would say, "Even the slightest breeze can topple a teetering stone." If I can disrupt her spell, even just a little, Ohn'ahra might be able to break free. Keep the guards distracted. I have an idea.
