Quest is currently bugged. First, it does not add any tracking to the map. The location of the traps is in the rivers north of Teerakai and south of the Broadhoof Outpost flight points, but even when you get the Bluebill meat, you still cannot interact with the traps, it says you are missing the bluebill meat reagent.

To complete Duck, Duck, Trap you have to loot Bluebill Meat from Bluebill Waddler, then use the Meat on the traps.

The ducks you need to kill are not only in the marked area on the map - that's where the traps are - but they're along some of the nearby river areas, too.

If you can't click traps, even when you have meat, abbandon any Artisan's Supply quests (profession one). You're welcome.

Once you're done murdering the poor, defenseless ducks for their meat - you can reset the traps from stealth, if you're a stealth class.

Works fine for me today. As a note, not all bluebills will drop meat, actually maybe half of them will. So you'll have to murder a lot of them :D

Hi all

I present You Daily Quest Duck, Duck, Trap. You can do it when Aylaag Camp is up 55.5 52.1 in Ohn'ahran Plains to get reputation for Maruuk Centaur.

On This Quest You need to reset 6 Sprung Trap. First Fly to 43 46 then kill Bluebill Waddler to get 6 Bluebill Meat after that You can reset 6 traps.

To reset each of the traps, you need to first loot Bluebill Meat from Bluebill Waddler, and then interact with the trap. Note that resetting the trap doesn't take you out of stealth.

The drop rate on the Meats is pretty abysmal -- I think I ended up having to kill like 18 Waddlers in total, while trying to avoid other random mobs -- and I honestly regretted doing this quest.

You may run out of ducks for the meat.

They do respawn but only after quite a while.

At 42.47 there are much more ducks with good respawn time. The drop is something like 30% meaning that you have to kill more than 6.

This drop rate is beyond garbage. At first I was sad I had to kill the ducks. By the end of it I was murdering them with a vengeance.

Nope, not doing this quest. I refused and never did the Eagle Eyes quest in Grizzly Hills way back in Wrath and now I'm refusing to do this one.

Reset the Clan Aylaag hunting traps at the Primordial Vale.

Description

The grove called the Primordial Vale is rich with the magic of the old dragons. A type of slyvern there are prized by my kin for their fur, but they are elusive and hard to find. Instead of having you try to track them down, you can find some of our hunting traps in the area. Use meat from the nearby waterfowl to reset them - I will send some of our clan to retrieve whatever gets caught.
