At 12:30 there spawned a symbol on the map saying that they are gathering and the siege will bein in 30min

I finnished the scenario, but i cannot turn in the quest, the turn in is still a silver question mark. anyone know what I should do? abandoning the quest and retaking it doesnt even restart the scenario.

To those who may be confused with where to turn the quest in, just go ahead and fly away from the area and the ? will update back to where the event started. And in case you forgot where that is: /way 30.52 77.87

my dudes got bugged right away. i saw the hand sign and i didn't know what that was. turns out it heals them. and then they didn't want to cooperate after that . ended up soloing all the bosses except for the last one. the dude completely disappeared when i got to stage 4. disappointing. do not recommend.

I did it with a guildie. We were in a party. I had the quest. I did not get any rewards or achievement, while he did. We were both there for the entire event. Seems there is some kind of bug going on.

Seems like it happens on the hour. That's the patterned I've noticed anyway but it could be different on other servers.

This event appears to be bugged on some servers. I have stood by the starting area for 20+ minutes around the top of the hour, when the event is supposed to start, and the scenario never starts. (Tichondrius-US)
edit: I tried this event again and it started succesfully when there were more people around at the top of the hour. To me, it seems the event starting has to do with people being at the starting area exactly at the top of the hour. If no one is there when the clock turns, the scenario does not seem to start at all.

It seems that if you are not participating in this event from the moment it starts, it will not allow you to participate at all, and you will have to wait until the next one begins. I logged in while the event was going and the objective marker had moved, but there are no objectives to actually complete.

GOOD NEWS! IF YOU'RE *LITTLE* LATE, IT'S OKAY. You can catch up with everyone. I found the party still traveling down the road not too far from where it started and was able to get credit at the end. (Mine started at the top of the hour. ) I will note it was still at the first step where we were feeding the mount so it had not transitioned to a 2nd step yet. I cannot speak to joining after that.

Ooook I feel like I've figured out the confusion on this, this event DOES start at the top of every hour but if you're not apart of the scenario from the get go you will be left out and will have to wait it out until the next top of the hour rolls around. I came in at the start (10 AM EST) & our group finished it by 10:15 EST.

With all of that being said, the entire scenario is at Dragonbane Keep to the west of the starting point so if you come in a few minutes late and do not see Beef with the cart then I would head over and see if you can pick up the scenario in whatever stage it is currently set. I cannot confirm you are able to do this as I have not experienced it. Merely a suggestion for people who might be running a bit late to it. Hope this helps!

EDIT: You CAN join the scenario if you catch up to the starting group in the Dragonbane Keep area!

This doesn't unlock on my alt. Did a few quests areound the area but no dragon flying to me to give the quest, I have the reputation needed on my main and it should be account unlock.

A tip that seems to work:

Come to the place at about 12 minutes before the hour.

At 10 minutes before the hour, Boss will shout out "The siege begins in 10 minutes!". If you're there and you don't see/hear that text, then you know that the scenario isn't going off this hour.

Small thing that might help. When you get to the start area there might not be a counter onscreen. I never saw one, however, if you open your map and mouse over the horn where you are, it'll give you the countdown. I just moused over it, checked the countdown, logged out and set a timer/alarm for 5 minutes before it was due to start. Logged back in when the alarm went off and had 2 mins to go, the whole event took maybe 10 minutes and then it was done!

Heard the event warning from the main Drak city, by the time I finished my city fight quest and flew across the zones to the event the fighting party was already transitioning from stage 3 to stage 4 just before boss. I landed in the group, followed to axe the boss, still got the full boss drops. So at least for me it allowed me to still do the event as long as I joined before the boss was downed.

Your mileage might vary, but I'll leave that for others to confirm. Things change daily in DF.

Hello everyone so I have a question about this event!
I leveled my main too 70 and ive done all the campaign and got about about 9renown in Valdrakken accord, after that I leveled my alt got him to 70 quickly and done all the events so far except the Siege gathering event which is quest! for some reason Herald Flaps the baby dragon didnt appear for me like it did for my main. Is there a questline I need to finish or how can I access this event with my alt? Thanks a lot <3

Arrived at the spot 15 mins ago, at 10:03 CET. Nothing happened so far, tool tip on map says "The siege will begin soon".

But when reading posts here, several says it's every hour on the clock. So "soon" according to Blizzard, may well be almost a full hour.

Absolutely ridiculous, especially since there no info at all anywhere ingame.

At ten to the hour, I see the horn on my map. I fly to the spot. Nothing. I go afk for a few minutes and check again. I wait. Its 59 past the hour. No horn on the map now. No NPCs.

Edit: The event IS every TWO HOURS. For me, the NPCs spawned at one minute past the (odd) hour. They then did nothing until ten to the (even) hour when they announced the battle would begin in ten minutes. At one past the even hour, it started.

Got the quest at level 68 and completed the event (got loots and everything) but am unable to turn in the quest. I get the yellow message "You are not high enough level for that quest" upon trying to turn it in. Seems like a bug.

Has anyone had an issue picking this up on an alt? I did the campaign on my hunter and then I started on my priest, she's renown 6 with Valdrakken and I can't seem to get the little dragon to show up

You can monitor when the event starts by watching the timer on the wowhead home page, under the "Today In Wow" section

If you are trying to do this on an ALT character, you need to either complete the quest The Last Eggtender or you can go where the Flight Path is located in the Obsidian Citadel, speak with kalendormu to skip to current time if you already completed the quest otherwise the siege will not show up for you.

I dont see mentioned here: After taking over the keep and finishing the main event, Captain Lancer rare spawns nearby with high chance for STR polearm (scaling with level).

What I tried to get the Dragonbane Siege on an level 70 alt who didn't do any campaign progress:

Talk to Kalendormu and use the dialogue option to skip (he offers no quest, just talk to him). I got teleported to the throne, but siege didn't show up.
I did all the quests at the throne, but I think this wasn't nessessary.
Then I realized that in the eastern of the The Waking Shores a new campaign: /way #2022 57.85 67.31Sabellian who offers The Last Eggtender. I've been there before since someone posted that this would lead to the Dragonbane Siege, but it wasn't there for me. So I did this questline:
1) The Last Eggtender - 2) Egg-cited for the Future - 3) Life-Binder on Duty 4) A Charge of Care - 5) Next Steppes - 6) Into the Plains - 7) Proving Oneself - 8) Welcome at Our Fire - 9) The Shikaar <-- still no siege
Maybe I should get renown 5 with the Valdrakken Accord with that alt, although things should be unlocked account-wide
Got Renown 5 with Valdrakken but still no siege quest, even after a relog. No idea how to get the baby dragon spawn and offer me the quest.
The horn with the timer just spawned for me, 15 minutes before the start of the siege. It seems that an alt doesn't get the quest for it.

Seems still bugged.
Everywhere people says it starts on every hour. Some say that might start off timed.
However I've been waiting here for 55 minutes and event still haven't start. I started waiting on 18:45 and NPC spawned around 19:05 and I'm still waiting the event to activate. Now the time is 19:40.

Although this page as well as the Valdrakken Accord renown screen says that level 70 is required for this request, you are able to do and complete this quest at a lower level as well (I did it at 69).

The quest seems to be a bit bugged at times, in that Beef, Boss and co. sometimes just seem to stand at the starting point of the quest at the beginning of the hour. If nothing happens, just try again next hour. Good luck.

I Aiding the Accord - This quest is weekly. You need collect 4000 repoutation. Reputation can be collect from WQ, simple Quests, Events on map which are giving reputatnion and ect.
Reward: Valdrakken Treasures: 500 rep for all main fractions, 5 Depleted Primal Chaos, 150 Dragon Isles Supplies and Thrumming Celestial Arrangement 353ilvl.
After You done this quest In next Week You can get other simular quest. In total is 5 Weekly Quests but You will get only 1. Reward from all of them are same.

Weekly Quest List is on botom of comment.

2. Aiding the Accord: Dragonbane Keep - You need to collect 3000 of any reputation + You need to finish Siege on Dragonbane Keep.
Siege on Dragonbane Keep is unlock at 5 renown with Valdrakken Accord, at 5 renown small dragon will appear next to you and will give you quest To Dragonbane Keep!.
Siege on Dragonbane Keep is start every 2 hours to join even You just need to fly /way 30.59 78.35, and just wait until event will start, when You finish this Even Objective for quest will be done as well You will get Dragonbane Keep Strongbox ( only from first one in week after next one You will get Dragonbane Keep Strongbox )

3. Aiding the Accord: A Feast For All - You need to collect 3000 of any reputation + You need to finish Community Feasts ( but not even only task during event ).
Community Feasts is unlock at 3 renown with Iskaara Tuskarr and is repeats many times a day. To take place in order Fly to /way 13.59 48.59, After start it You will get task to do, after 10 sec will ask You to get 3 Ancheevy You can pick them up /way 12.98 48.81, behind Arv. When You get 3 go back to POT and use Extra spell bar to throw Ancheevy, After You done this activity You should finis objective for Quest. You dont need to finish Event to get count objective for quest.

4. Aiding the Accord: The Hunt is On - Will up date when i will have Quest.

5. Aiding the Accord: The Isles Call - Will up date when i will have Quest.

Ok - here's something odd i noticed - at the end of the siege the guys line up outside in a line - if u read them from left to right looking at the last letters of their names it spells out " SEEK SEWN" (maybe SEWN refers to south east west north?) - or maybe its not significant - but i DID think their names were a bit odd to begin with - could it be a clue to one of them long puzzle things Blizz likes to put in?

I have had this quest in my log so long that I have just given up. I'm beginning to think that Blizzard is gaslighting me, and this quest cannot be completed.

For anyone struggling to find the timer when you see comments about checking your Minimap to see it, the only way I could see it from a Minimap is by going to a Flight Master then when you would select your destination, scroll into Waking Shores with your mouse wheel and the Horn icon will show over the location where it starts. You can then mouse over to see the timer.

The timer doesnt appear if you just open your main Map with the M key and zoom into the same area.

Yet another one of Blizzard's Blunders. Once the event starts, if you are NOT RIGHT THERE, it's too late. By the time you get to the location, it's over. Your only choice is to sit around at the right location, doing nothing, until the event starts. Last time I tried, I sat for over an hour doing absolutely nothing and the event never started. I gave up. Five minutes later, I was off doing something else, and the event started... and by the time I got there it was all over. THIS IS STUPID. I've been trying to do this since about a week after Dragonflight opened up, and i still haven't been able to get there when the event is happening.

Not sure if this is a change or if the server is behind or if it's just plain bugged. Boss didn't even show up till 7 after the hour, and as 15 past the event still hasn't started.

As of today the crew & boss appeared at 5 minutes after the hour. I want to believe that the diablo event has skewed the timer. it could be a lesson in patience for those that are obsessively early, like me; or a blessing for those that are always late. Hope this helps.

This quest for some reason is not showing up for me, I am already LVL 70 and have max renown already with valdrakken accord, how can I even start the quest when Herald Flaps does not show?, even reading somewhere to talk to Kalendormu, and even he is not there at all so any info would help
