Nevermind! Figured out how to complete this. You just put on the disguise and go across the river to the cave right next to the questgivers.

I wandered around the cave for a good few minutes and tried several emotes to 'convince the chef'... there was no gossip option when i talked to her in the disguise either.

Dropping the quest and picking it back up seemed to work though, i put the disguise on before i entered the cave, and the gossip option then appeared and I could progress the quest.

Certain addons might block the completion of this quest,
I was struggling on the part where you need to "convince the chef" the first dialog option appeared but after that nothing, dropped the quest picked it up again tried also on an alt nothing worked what worked was disabling all addons, not sure which one or if more than one, I run like a lot of addons, but long story short some might cause an issue with this quest .

If you can't toss the egg after the dialogue, do a /reload and the button will show up.

Hi all

I present You Storyline The Screetchflight Scramble. This Storyline is part of Sojourner of Thaldraszus which is criteria for Loremaster of the Dragon Isles.

Quests in order I done:

1. Lost to the Skies - Start from Grimla Fizzlecrank /way #2112 52.12 65.85, You need to fly to Harleen Chirpsnide She is in cave /way 50.09 70.30
2A. Flying Rocs - Use Ornithological Medical Kit on 8 Injured Bluefeather Roc, During full Storyline Bluefeather Roc will help You in fight if they are close even you attack them they will not attack you.
2B. Smash 'Em to Feathereens - Slay 10 Screechflight Hexclaw and 8 Screechflight Witherer.
4A. Plucking Parts - Quest 4A-4D do it in cave /way 51.36 72.37, Find 4 items: Feather-Plucker 3300 Gears, Feather-Plucker 3300 Gasket, Feather-Plucker 3300 Exhaust Pipe and Feather-Plucker 3300 Bolts:
/way 51.45 73.59 Feather-Plucker 3300 Gasket
/way 51.02 74.66 Feather-Plucker 3300 Bolts
/way 49.89 76.08 Feather-Plucker 3300 Exhaust Pipe
/way 48.80 75.28 Feather-Plucker 3300 Gears
4B. A Roc-ing Appetite - Slay Hawthia Roc-Muncher /way 48.82 74.84
4C. Explosive Excrement - Trample Rocdrop Scarab ( small insects ) then use The Chirpsnide Auto-Excre-Collector to pull them bodys 2% or slay Rocdrop Pudgepin ( is not many of them ) then use The Chirpsnide Auto-Excre-Collector to pull them bodys 6% Ultil 100%.
4D. Rolling in the Screech - When You kill Hawthia Roc-Muncher /way 48.82 74.84, You will loot Screechflight Scroll Just return quest to same quest giver 4B.
8A. A Nest of Our Own - You need to Loot 3 type of items:
- 20 Screechflight Talon Drop from Screechflight Snatcher and Screechflight Cursewife
- 6 Screechflight Staff Drop From Screechflight Cursewife
- 3 Creekborne's Core Drop from Howling Creekborne and Creekmoaner
8B. It's Plucking Time - Pluck 6 Hatchling Feather by using Feather-Plucker 3300 on Flying Snatched Hatchling.
8C. Separating the Yolk - Collect 20 Bluefeather Egg You can pick them up in nests around, I get max from one 5 Bluefeather Egg. Wuest 8A-8C return to /way 42.99 71.41
11. Screechflight Potluck - First use Im-PECK-able Screechflight Disguise then go inside cave 43.39 71.49 and speak with Chef Fry-Aerie then use extra bar and wait few sec.
12. The Awaited Egg-splosion - First use Im-PECK-able Screechflight Disguise v2 then press on stew after go out from cave and use Chirpsnide's One-Way Taxi. Get inside cave and Place the "egg" on the Matriarch's Egg Bowl, then wait and finally kill Matriarch Avethyra. When You get out from cave you can use extra bar to fly back to quest giver. After this Quest Storyline finish.

Learned the hard way - don't try to use the SELFIE Camera while you're a bird! The game doesn't like that, haha. I got stuck with my camera locked in front of me and abilities greyed out, but with no interface to cancel back out. Had to relog to fix this.

So if you're working on the That's Pretty Neat! achievement, wait until after the quest.

I had difficulty completing the quest turn-in. I did a re-log and then clicked "Hear Chirpsnide's Plan" And then was able to turn it in.

This whole Area is messed up tbh. I am not one to complain about the game. In fact, I think this is my 1st time but after the previous quests (Looking for the damned Cave Entrances) and having to pay the piper for some Rez Sickness, I am almost afraid to even try this one.

Then it's a good thing I've made you an im-PECK-able Screechflight disguise out of all the materials you just gathered! Segallia and I still need time to finish building the final "egg" that will take out the matriarch, but I've made a smaller, prototype version for you to try out on the chef. And don't worry! You'll be 12% safer from these explosions under all the feathers!
