The silver scale seems to be missing a texture and instead it makes you disconnect as soon as the placeholder loads in, I had to keep relogging and slowly walk to the teleporter to get away from it so I could abandon the quest.

Despite the renown description saying the chain starts at Alextrasza, the quest did not pop up for me.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Repair tool or unstuck character didn't work.
But completely uninstalling wow and installing it helped and i could complete that quest.

currently broken,
unstuck -> abandon quest -> a few extra relogs eventually fixed it,

dont do until blizzard updates it, it will make your game unplayable

This is crazy that this bug has lived on for days. The unrendered object just permanently DC's you until you slowly get downstairs after a million relogs.

You can't talk to Alexstrasza if you're in a raid group, I discovered.

She reappeared in Valdrakken after completing other quests, specifically: To Tyrhold > Aspect Power > Red Dawn.

Hi all

I present You Storyline The Silver Purpose which is part of Achievement Friend of the Dragon Isles. To unlock This Storyline You need to have Renown Level 12 with Valdrakken Accord.

Quests in order I done:

1. Ally of Dragons - Quest from Herald Flaps will appear when You will reach Renown Level 12 with Valdrakken Accord. Go to see Alexstrasza at the Seat of the Aspects in Valdrakken.
2. The Gift of Silver - Speak with Alexstrasza the Life-Binder conversation will start after collect Silver Scale.
3. The Legacy of Tyrhold - Fly to 58.15 58.74 and place Silver Scale then press on console.
4. The Magic Within - Use 6 console: /way 57.87 55.56 /way 58.33 57.75 /way 58.32 59.57 /way 59.85 56.37 /way 59.85 61.18 /way 57.85 61.93, then back to NPC and place Silver Scale.
5. A Spark of Discovery - Speak with Titan Spark and follow it killing all mobs in way.
6. Memories of the Past - First speak with Nozdormu Conversation and memories will start after finish speak with NPC one by one from left starting. When You finish this quest just wait.
7. Parting Instructions - Place the Silver Scale at the forge in Tyrhold 60.51 58.74 then press on Forge Console.
8. Hard Lock Life - Get 2 items ( This 2 mobs have long rfespawn time - just wait for them ):
- Primary Security Disc drop from Maiden of Diligence /way 57.65 63.63
- Secondary Security Disc drop from Maiden of Patience /way 57.91 53.65
Use Tyrhold Conduit on elite if need it :) is on extra bar. when you finish quest just wait.
9. Halls of Infusion: An Infusion of Materials - You need to go to Dungeon Halls of Infusion ( I go LFG normal or HC and was wait few min ) and do two things:
- 10xAncient Titansteel Ingot - All drop Watcher Irideus 1st boss.
- Slay last boss Primal Tsunami.
10. The Silver Purpose - First place Ingots on front side of forge. then activate Left and Right Forge Console Video will start. This Quest is finishing Storyline.

If you're like me, you accepted the quests at the top, then flew down to complete those quest.
However, you must stay at the top after talking to Alexstrasza until you can interact with the gift in the middle of the platform.
If you can't interact with the item, simply abandon the quest, and talk again to Alexstrasza.

This questline is now skippable on alts, but you will miss out on some gold and 2500+ Valdrakken reputation

Description

Shortly before his passing, Keeper Tyr gifted us with a dragon scale forged of purest silver. We kept it in the vaults of Valdrakken during our absence, but I believe it is time to share it once more. Though we have no idea the purpose for this memento, it has always been a symbol of unity and friendship to us. As a true ally to dragonkind, we would like to share it with you. Speak to me when you are ready, <name>.
