The best way to hunt these is to be in a group of at least four and have everyone sit in each zone to wait for the call for them. Save up max Vigor for your dragonflying and use it all to get to them as fast as possible. After the call you have around 3-4 min to get there. Either place yourself close to the middle of the continent on a high peak or use hearthstone to Valdrakken which is roughly in the center.

The time between drops seems to be similar to BFA, 20-30, we saw them sometimes appear in the same zone twice and sometimes in one zone then another.

You can capture these in a raid group, in fact it is advised to do so.

On the server I was on I found a pattern. We looted Thaldraszus and then went to Azure Span and it pops up around 10-15 mins later. Flew to Ohn'ahran Plains and it flew in 5 mins later. Flew to Waking Shores and it pops 1 min later. Then we wait 20 mins for Thaldraszus to pop up and the exact pattern repeats. It was never any different for the 10 hours I did this.

I wanted to see if there was still a pattern to the war supply caches, how long between spawns - trying to get 1000 honor points in each zone achi while afk and here were my observations:

TLDR: The pattern is - by each shard, on each server, all zones are linked and all zones spawn a plane at exactly the same time simultaneously, every 45 minutes

My partner also AFK'd in another zone to see if there was a pattern, when partied up with me, they spawned exactly the same time across 2 zones.

There was one spawn yesterday - she had it spawn in Waking Shores, and I did NOT see it spawn in Thaldraszus - leading me to think it depends on the shard you're in and when partied, its same shard, but that could be wrong, it might be server wide now regardless of shard - cbf testing tbh.

If thats the case, maybe moving to another zone, you can see it spawn again within 15-20 mins if you also change shards? Not sure thats up to someone else to explore

So I think at least in this patch, unless i'm missing something, just sit in the zone you want it in the most on the one character grouping up won't help get you more chests - unless they spawn very close across zone borders - I couldn't fly to the second zone in time to also loot that chest.

Maybe you can sit in different shards, un-grouped, and then group up once it spawns but we couldn't get it to work - my partner couldn't see the icon after joining my group.

We were partied up to be in same shards and server
Same server - Frostmourne (OCE)
While we could only see 2 zones at a time it can't be coincidental - same shards and servers now all spawn simultaneously
Dream-surge seems to affect it spawning, or a fyrakk assault when it spawned in Oh'naran plains - we look like we need some resources talking head pops up, but there is no icon of it moving across the map; I will need to investigate this more, maybe it was just my partners account? I might come back with an update

Without fail, both characters would look like they needed some resources in different zones at the same time - exactly 45 mins from the last. Here were the exact timings for one evening of camping - again I dont think it's in pairs, I think it is all zones because if it was in pairs there is no way we would be that lucky to coincidentally be in the 2 selected zones

20:43 - Thaldraszus (un-partied, same server - only this zone spawned - on my shard, not on partners shard)
21:27 - Azure Span (un-partied, same server - only this zone spawned - on my shard, not on partners shard) - 45 minutes since last on my shard
22:12 - Waking Shores and Thaldraszus spawned exact same time (partied, same server, same shards ) - 45 minutes since last on my shard
22:57 - Waking Shores and Thaldraszus spawned exact same time (partied, same server, same shards) - 45 minutes since last on my shard
23:42 - Thaldraszus and Ohn'Ahran plains spawned exact same time (partied, same server, same shards) - 45 minutes since last on my shard
00:27 - Waking Shores and Ohn'Ahran plains spawned exact same time (partied, same server, same shards) - 45 minutes since last on my shard

Question: Looking to farm some Bloody Tokens through these. Do you see the announcement Shout regardless of which zone you're in? Not sure if I can chill in Valdrakken and then see that one is up.

These are all the points listed for Ohn'ahran Plains. The crate did not pop up on the map for me when I was searching for it so look for the call and then it falling in the sky

Guessing that some kind of phasing like elemental storms or time rifts or dreamsurges etc. lead the war supply chests to not spawn if it would drop in such an area.
Noticed that while camping the chest in waking shores, two times there was the assignment in chat, but no cache would come down on the whole map, checked all the possible falling positions.

This is not confirmed, just some thoughts. Had also an issue with the chest in azure spane while there were two elemental storms up, no cache at all.
Went to Thaldraszus while without storms or rifts and had 2 caches spawning one after another without problems.

Just maybe go another zone without any events if youre going to camp this, idk :D
