Legendary, very detailed as always.
Hail to the Chef is only missing one achievement at the moment, which is The Northrend Gourment (part 3). Chef de Cuisine is not required for Hail to the Chef, only it's predecessor (Sous Chef) is.
I sense a certain amount of anger ... Could someone get Miyari and Gordon Ramsay in the same room to make sure they're not one and the same?
Nice guide. Unfortunately I'm stuck at around 420 myself, and the last time I made a full stack of some green-level buff food I didn't get a single skill point. It's indeed quite annoying. Also, I'd add that the carrots for Sewer Stew are trackable with Find Herbs. It's one of the easier quests IMO. ;)edit: Right, the mustard and 'shrooms are too. So yes, herbalism does help quite a bit with these.
I have personally only cooked 31 Northrend recipes of the 46 and counted what's left and I found that you can only acquire what looks like 42 total recipes so far in Northrend. So I'm hoping they add 4 more recipes (which the following seem to be missing: Shoveltusk Soup, Succulent Orca Stew, Kungaloosh, and Fish Feast) so that I can finally be Chef Tutonious :DThis is the only achievement holding me back from wearing my chef cap proudly in Dalaran with my Kirin Tor Familiar by my side lol
Great guide.Though I found a small error, in the guide you say:"craft either Shoveltusk Steak (Borean Tundra) or Rhino Dogs (Howling Fjord)"when it should be:"craft either Shoveltusk Steak (Howling Fjord) or Rhino Dogs (Borean Tundra)"
OM NOM NOMGreat guide.
Great guide for sure! But Blizzard nerfs some meat drops like Chilled Meat. Initially I give about 80% drops from these at Rams near Fort Wildervar (snow areas). Actually I'll give 40% with lucky. Today I need to farm 12 of to the daily quest in Dalaran (Convention at The Legendermain), spend about a hour to get all 12 meats. Normally I did it in 15min or less.About the Dailies in Dalaran: not difficult at all, 'cause the items is easy to farm (except for some drop rates that blizzard has nerfed). Or for some players the way is AH, but normally the prices are insane high 'cause the dailies. But at least one of requires no trips or AH visits to get (Cheese for Glowergold).PS: sorry for my bad english, not my native language.
Great guide, as always. I would like to note, however, that Chef de Cuisine is not a pre-requisite of Hail to the Chef.
YAY cooking guide =D<3 Wowhead
Cool guide, i'm a big fan of cooking too. I made grinding up cooking on my DK one of my priorities early on and I'm glad i did it but I agree with a lot of the points you've made... there should definitely be a better way of hitting 450 than this but on the other hand I'm really happy with the changes bliz has made to cooking. It's come a long way from the days of a 15 min crappy 12stam/spi buff. :)
